Full Back Winger Centre/2nd Row

Nickname: Brisc
Info: Regarded as the 2nd best English fullback after Paul Wellens, Shaun comes into the side with great expeirence from his time at both Wigan and Hull. He always puts his body on the line for the team, and has a fantastic try scoring record in the SL.

Nickname: Foxy
Info:
After impressing in his debut season in the big time, Foxy was quickly snapped up by Justin, and will be looking to progress this time round. With pace to burn the winger quickly became a fans favourite at Bell Vue, scoring 10 trys.

Nickname: Chev
Info: A former GB international, Chev is a real coup for the club, and will add pace and power which was certainly missing last year. The former Huslet junior had a great try scoring record, which helped in attract the interest from RU.

Center Winger Stand Off

Nickname: Webbo
Info: A NZ super star, Jake has all the skills of a classy centre, and with age on his side, the world is at his feet. Having previously played in the NRL for Storm and the Titans, the speedster will be the Robins go-to man out wide for the 2008 campaign

Nickname: Fitz
Info: Flamboyant winger with an eye for the try line, Fitz tops try scoring records for NRL club West Tigers. An exciting player to watch, and can score trys from all over the field and can fill a number of rules in the backline aswell as being able to switch to Stand Off

Nickname: Cookie
Info: Signed mid-season as a free agent, Cookie gradually built up a strong half back partnership with Webster, and will be looking to build on this next season. He boasts a great kicking game, and has a trade mark long pass in his armoury.

Nickname: Webbo
Info: Webbo, signed by Harvey Howard, instantly became a fans favourite and is a firm part of the Rovers Family. He's pretty much the linchpin to the Rovers play in attack, and his organisational skills will play a big part in our drive for the top 6 this year.

Nickname: TBC
Info: Garret signs for the club after a successful couple of years with the Storm down under. Highly rated, and will provide good go-forward either off the bench or from the start. He has a great work ethic, and will lay the platform for the half backs.

Nickname: Nemo
Info:
After a brilliant debut season in the Super league, the Super League hit man is aiming for 1000 tackles this season, and not many will back against him. He has great work ethic and is always likely to win a penalty out of dummy half.

Nickname: TBC
Info: The Welsh front rower was signed from Quins, to provide the side with more size up front. Had some impressive performances for the London club last season, and he'll be looking to build on that for the Robins.

Nickname: Benny G
Info: Recomended by O'Neil, Benny brings lots of expeirence to the club, and along with Clint, will give the team great guidance from the 2nd Row position. Has a good pair of hands, and great work ethic.

Nickname: TBC
Info: Having just won the NRL with the Storm, Clint comes to England in fine form. The Aussie has all the skills of a top class 2nd Rower, and has good leadership skills which will be vital next season.

13. Scott Murrel 14. Stanley Gene 15. Ben Cockayne
Looseforward Utility Fullback

Nickname: Monkey 'ed
Info: Another product of Leeds, Scotty has been given the number 13 shirt, which indicates that he'll be contining in the loose forward role. Tackles well above his weight, and has a good kicking game.

Nickname: Stan
Info: Currently in his 2nd stint at Craven Park, Stan is a legend in the East side of Hull. Gives 100% week in week out, and also brings good utility value to the side.

Nickname: Charlie
Info: Having had the full back jersey for the last two seasons, Ben will now face stiff competition for the number 1 spot. Ben plays with his heart on his leave and is a real 100%'er.

Nickname: Nev
Info: Hull Born Jason Netherton was signed from the Leeds Rhinos, and put in some steady performances last season. He has a good tackling technique, and is reliable going forward. Nev will be looking to keep his spot.

Nickname: Macca
Info: The longest serving player in the squad, Macca has become a fans favourite due to his fierce running and hard hitting defence. Playing alongside better players this season, it could bring out the best in the PNG star.

Nickname: TBC
Info: Rhys really hit top form towards the end of last season, and with a full pre season behind him, we're all anticipating what could be a fantastic season from him.

Info: Spotted by Justin Morgan while playing at Batley, Luke is a young prop with a great work ethic. With a low centre of gravity, he's been compared to Barry McDermot, he's another one who will be looking to impress next season.

Nickname: Mickey V
Info:
After a storming season, where Mick picked up several awards, the big former Austrilian international will be looking to build on 2007, and deliver yet more high clas performances.

Nickname: Steeley
Info:
Steeley has all the skills you want from a winger, pacey, good step and an eye for the line. Unfortunatly for Jon and Rovers, he hasn't had the best couple of seasons due to serious injurys.

Nickname: Nev
Info: Kirk can slot into both the Hooking position and the back row. Still fairly young, he hasn't had a long run in the side to date, yet impressing in is rare opportunitys last season.

Nickname: Chaz
Info: A product of the Leeds Rhinos acadamy system, Chaz has suffered big seck backs in his short career due to injurys. Rovers have given him a lifeline, and the youngster will be looking to break into the 17.

Nickname: TBC
Info: Signed from Cas this season to provide cover for the front row. Liam is a big aggressive unit with a big future in the game. He'll be looking to learn from players such as Mick Vella and Clint Newton.

25. Kris Welham 27. Chris Chester  
 
Centre 2nd Row/loose man  

Nickname: TBC
Info: The youngster along with his brother Liam are likely to play their trade in the under 21's for the majority of the season. But as Chris showed last year, he's ready to step up when needed. A good prospect and should be given a fair few first team games this season.

Nickname: Chessie
Info:
The former Wigan star had a great season last year, and managed to avoid any major injurys. His vision and his ability to run the right lines makes him a very dangerous player.
